LIFE
17th November 2013
I don't know about others but me, I have never thought of death till I reached the age of 50 years. Before that I had never thought of death striking nor was I afraid of death. I know that death has many faces and it comes as it pleases and none can stop it. We all believe if one is fated to die than death will consume him or her any time irrespective of age. The first time I saw death was at the age of twelve or thirteen I believe. It was my sick aunt (mother's sister) who was breathing her last breath as I stood beside her among other relatives. But at that age I did not feel anything deep to the lose of an aunt. I did lost my father when I was about eleven years of age and did really felt the lose and cried the whole night till the next day at his burial. After a few weeks all was back to normal and life went on for all of us in the family. Today this 17th of November 2013 I'm 62 years 11 months and 4 days having been married for 37 years and having two boys err..actually they are men now and both married and a grandson from my elder son, my wife and me are contended with our life. As I look back at time I had come a long way 543,480 hours of life and still ticking. But I'm aware this ticking will come to a stop soon but how and when is the question. I'm a heavy smoker at 20 to 30 sticks a day and my brand is always Benson & Hedges since I stared smoking at the tender age of 23. Knowing it is a killer from all the health ads and medical journal yet I had not quit smoking. May be I do not have that will power to stop as many who had given up after being advised by their doctors of the danger in smoking. Death is inevitable and weather you smoke or not it will surely consume you in many other ways so its not a matter of smoking that one dies. As meeting is the beginning of parting so is birth which is the beginning of death.
If one looks at it in a religious aspect in particular in Hinduism we are all living in the world of maya which translates to illusion. Actually we are not who we are as this body that we carry is a temporary abode to fulfill destiny of our past action we call karma. Good or bad is based on one's birth into this world. All living things including plant live are part of this destiny. The real you is the soul which has been given the present state and would not know of its past state nor the future. Its just a cycle that wheels on from life to life till it becomes self realized and return to the origin as one and never return back to the material world again. I will continue further tomorrow if there given chance to live another day. Good night.

Does the planets in our solar system influence all life form on earth? Yes, I do believe so. The science of astrology is not something new to the Hindus. In fact the vedic astrology is believed to have its origin in India and its founder was Sage Parashara who had vast experience in research studying the stars and planet rotation.
